Resort Interiors, already the largest home furnishings and design center on the Emerald Coast, will open its new 20,000 square foot Distribution Center and 5,000 square foot Patio Center on March 1, 2004 with a grand opening and new warehouse clearance and distribution center sale. The new facility provides Resort Interiors with computer-operated distribution which will speed delivery to customers. “All of this will allow us to continue to deliver to our growing customer base at the absolute highest speed while minimizing damage,” says Frank Kovach, president of Resort Investments, Inc., parent company of Resort Interiors. The new facility was designed by local architect Jeff Prescott. Royster Construction was contractor. Financing was provided by Destin Bank.” The new Patio Center will feature one of the area’s largest selections of outdoor furniture all displayed in a 5,000 square foot showroom. Resort Interiors will be the exclusive dealer for prestigious outdoor lines such as Tommy Bahama and Braxton Culler lines. “The Warehouse Clearance Sale is the opening of an area customers are going to enjoy. In consolidating our three warehouses into our new warehouse, we have uncovered a lot of bargains for our customers,” says Colleen Barrett, sales manager for Resort Interiors. With the new facility, Resort Interiors will increase its staffing to over 50 people with 20 full-time sales and design associates.
