Solatech, LLC, (www.Solatech.com) a leading provider of software for the window covering industry, and Scottsdale Shutters, Inc., one of the nation’s top manufacturers of hardwood shutters, have announced a strategic alliance to work together to provide Scottdale’s product information to the retail window covering industry.
Scottsdale Shutters joins such industry stalwarts as Kensington Window Expressions, Comfortex and Aveno Window Fashions in the “Solatech Partnership Alliance.”
Initially, Scottsdale Shutters product information will be provided through the Solatech retail window covering software products, thus allowing Scottsdale Shutter’s products to be ordered directly by users of the Solatech window covering software. The partnership will allow Scottsdale Shutters customers to use computerized pricing, apply discounts, and generate quotes, order confirmations, invoices, purchase orders and open order reports, as well as generate sales reports.
Under the agreement, Solatech will market, develop and support Scottsdale Shutters product line throughout the Solatech customer base throughout the continental United States, as well as Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico. Solatech will also be assisting and supporting the Scottsdale Shutters customers using the Solatech software.
“We are delighted to have Scottsdale Shutters join our partnership,” said Solatech, LLC, CEO Ray Soltis. “Through this strategic alliance, Scottsdale Shutters acknowledges the future of technology within our industry and is actively promoting the enhancement of our industry. It’s a win-win situation for all the companies in our partnership and, as a result, for our entire industry.
“We’ve been proud pioneers in providing much needed technology in the window covering industry, and our partnership with Scottsdale Shutters is another important step forward.”
Solatech, LLC, has been selling custom software packages for the window fashion industry since 2001.
