IHFRA, the International Home Furnishings Representatives Association, announces “Bring a Friend Home” and “Home Away from Home” new member campaigns.

Any current IHFRA member who brings in a new member during the October International Home Furnishings Market will receive a “Bring a Friend Home” rosewood roller ball pen when the new member joins IHFRA. Membership information will be available in the IHFRA office (IHFC Main 1405) throughout the market. New members are invited to make the IHFRA office their “Home Away from Home” during market. By joining during this campaign, new members will receive the IHFRA lapel pin for no additional charge. The IHFRA lapel pin, a $20.00 value, is recognized for access by all national market buildings and eliminates the need to stand in line for market passes. Additionally, the initial annual membership fee will cover the dues for the remainder of 2003 and all of 2004. Founded in 1934, IHFRA was the result of a group of aggressive sales representatives who recognized the value of having an avenue for representatives from across the country to join together and benefit from each other’s immense knowledge and experience. It is a professional organization whose objective is to help good reps become better reps and offers many benefits to the professional home furnishings representative.
