Nicolas Gaviria Appointed as New CEO of Martin Furniture

Martin Furniture has appointed Nicolas (Nico) Gaviria as its new Chief Executive Officer. Gaviria brings over two decades of experience in general management, corporate strategy, business development, and operations across both global corporations and privately held companies.

Prior to joining Martin Furniture, Gaviria held leadership positions at BekaertDeslee, where he most recently served as Head of Strategy for the Americas Division. In that role, he led initiatives focused on business transformation that contributed to revenue growth and increased market share. His previous experience also includes roles at Shaw Industries and PepsiCo, where he led projects in digital transformation, operational efficiency, and strategic planning. Earlier in his career, Gaviria served as a military officer.

Gaviria holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a concentration in Finance from the University of Miami and Florida International University. He has also completed executive leadership programs with a focus on organizational development and digital transformation. He is certified as a Lean Six Sigma Green and Black Belt.
