Paramount Sleep Company is showcasing its latest luxury sleep products at High Point Market,
with a focus on using natural and sustainable materials to create strong selling stories for retailers. The company
aims to help retailers attract consumers interested in premium, eco-friendly mattresses.
“The luxury category has been more resilient in this persistently challenging economy, and we remain focused on
building value through the use of natural and premium materials that define luxury, while also being a leader in
sustainability in the industry, not just at our factory,” said Richard Diamonstein, managing director of
Paramount Sleep and board member of the Mattress Recycling Council.
Locally Sourced, Natural Materials
The newly redesigned Paramount Collection features Virginia-sourced cotton in every mattress, making
Paramount the first U.S. mattress manufacturer to use locally grown, harvested, and processed cotton from its home
state. Through a partnership with the Virginia Department of Agriculture and a local gin mill, the cotton is
traceable back to the fields of Isle of Wight and Southampton County, Virginia. This approach highlights
Paramount’s heritage as a family-owned business spanning four generations.
The collection also includes premium components such as a cooling cover quilted with a silk-wool cashmere blend, or
100% New Zealand wool and cashmere, for moisture-wicking benefits and temperature regulation. Additionally, the
mattresses feature quilted natural latex for lumbar support and reduced body impressions. Each mattress is
hand-tufted for durability and includes specialty materials like GOLS-certified latex and high-density gel memory
foam. Prices for the queen-size mattresses range from $1,999 to $4,999.
The collection also offers a quilted topper, priced at $699, which attaches to any mattress in the line. This feature
effectively doubles the feel options of the seven-bed collection to 14.
New HD Super Duty Series Preview
Retailers attending the market can also preview the refreshed HD Super Duty series, which is set to launch
in 2025. The new Signature and Classic mattresses in this performance-driven line include
sustainable materials like recycled “Blue” cotton from the denim industry, Repreve fabric, CertiPUR-US
25% biobased high-density foam, and a fire-resistant pad made from recycled plastic bottles. The beds feature either
a foam-encased “Q” Spring system or a 12.75-gauge HD coil, depending on the model.
Hypnos Wool Series Introduction
Paramount is also introducing the Hypnos Wool Series, offering retailers an exclusive first look at this
line of mattresses with Responsible Wool Standard (RWS) certification. The Hypnos Wool Origins collection includes
100% British wool, sustainable cotton, GOLS-certified latex, recycled pocket spring support, and hand stitching.
These materials are sourced and produced according to the high standards of the 120-year-old British bed-making
company Hypnos.
Paramount Sleep invites buyers to explore these new products and market specials from October 26-30 in their showroom
at 330 S. Wrenn St. The company will also host a Mattress Monday Mixer on October 30, starting at 5 p.m.,
featuring drinks, appetizers, and conversation.
