MLILY USA to Introduce New Bedding Essentials Line at High Point Market

MLILY USA is launching a new bedding essentials line at the upcoming High Point Market, part of its strategy to help retailers increase sales by offering a broader range of sleep products. The new line will debut in Plaza Suites 1-542 and includes pillows, sheets, duvets, and comforters.

With reduced foot traffic in stores, retailers are looking to maximize each sales opportunity, according to Derek Leishman, MLILY’s national sales director. “The goal for many is to increase the sales ticket with every opportunity,” Leishman said. MLILY’s bedding essentials collection supports this by offering a variety of complementary sleep products designed to enhance the customer’s overall sleep experience.

New Bedding Essentials Line
MLILY’s pillow collection includes two models. The soft washed down alternative pillow, priced at $89 for a queen size, features a polyester cover and polyester down alternative filling. The second option, an ethically sourced down pillow, retails for $199 in queen size and is DownPass certified. This pillow is made with a cotton cover, with outer chambers containing 90% white duck down and 10% white duck feathers, while the inner chamber consists of white duck feathers.

The company’s new sheet sets are designed to be wrinkle and stain resistant. Made from microfiber, these sheets are offered in three colors and fit mattresses up to 16 inches tall. The recommended retail price for a queen set is $99.

MLILY will also introduce two new duvet inserts, starting at $149 for a queen size. The Eco Soft Duvet Insert features a cotton exterior and a filling made of 80% polyester and 20% soybean fiber. The Super Cooling Duvet Insert is made with advanced cooling materials, including Sorona polyester fiber and Lyocell (Clima), for those seeking a temperature-regulated sleep environment.

Additionally, MLILY’s new microfiber down alternative comforter will be available in gray and white. Priced at $139 for a queen size, it features a polyester washed microfiber cover and polyester down alternative filling.

Expanding the Sleep System Approach
Leishman emphasized that retailers who offer complete sleep systems can enhance their position by providing pillows, sheets, and comforters alongside mattresses. “Most consumers purchase pillows within two weeks of a mattress purchase,” Leishman noted. “Retailers who focus on selling complete sleep systems not only elevate their position but also help their customers achieve an enhanced sleep environment.”

MLILY plans to expand these collections throughout 2025, continuing its emphasis on offering comprehensive sleep systems. The company will also introduce new mattress collections in January 2025.
