Furniture World News Desk on 4/15/2024

TD Retail Card Services has renewed its commitment as a Platinum sponsor for the 16th Annual Ante4autism event, contributing $5,000. An additional anonymous $5,000 donation has also been made to the event. Doug Krinsky, founder of Ante4autism, expressed his gratitude, saying, "We thank all these great companies and individuals that are supporting our event to help the kids, adults, and families impacted by Autism."

This year's event, scheduled for July 27 at the South Point Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, will benefit five autism-related charities: Autism Speaks, Cincinnati Children’s Hospital – The Kelly O’Leary Center for Autism Spectrum Disorders, Grant A Gift Autism Foundation – Ackerman Center, National Autism Association of Southeast Ohio, and Stockhands Horses for Healing.

The list of 2023 sponsors includes Bedding Industries of America as the Presenting Sponsor, 3Z Brands as the Final Table Sponsor, and additional contributions from Furniture First, Leggett & Platt, an anonymous donor, Planned Furniture Promotions, Big Sandy Superstore, Paywick, and Bilt Rite Furniture.

The event still offers opportunities for sponsorship and participant registration, available on Ante4autism.com. South Point Hotel and Casino is providing a reduced rate for attendees, available by quoting “ANT0727” for special room rates.

The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) reports that 1 in 36 children are now diagnosed on the autism spectrum, underscoring the ongoing need for support and awareness promoted by this event.

Doug Krinsky also extended thanks to the volunteer co-hosts involved in this year's event, which includes representatives from various sectors of the bedding and furniture industry.
