HFA Names Lacks Furniture and Saundra’s Furniture as 2025 Retailers of the Year

The Home Furnishings Association (HFA) has announced the recipients of its 2025 Retailer of the Year Awards. Lacks Furniture has been named Retailer of the Year (50+ employees), while Saundra’s Furniture has been recognized as Retailer of the Year (less than 50 employees).

The HFA Retailer of the Year Award honors home furnishings businesses that demonstrate innovation, brand strength, and outstanding customer experience despite industry challenges. Nominees are selected by their peers and evaluated by a panel of HFA retailer members, past award winners, and industry manufacturers and service providers.

Lacks Furniture to Be Honored in McAllen, Texas

HFA CEO Shannon Williams will present the Retailer of the Year Award to Seth Aaronson, CEO of Lacks Valley Stores, Ltd. (DBA Lacks Furniture), during a ceremony on Thursday, April 17, at 9:00 AM CT at the Lacks Furniture Galleria, 1200 E Expressway 83, McAllen, Texas.

Saundra’s Furniture to Receive Award in Colville, Washington

Williams will also present the Retailer of the Year Award to Saundra and Genevieve Wilma, owners of Mueller Furniture & Mattress, during a separate awards event on Tuesday, April 15, at 9:30 AM PT at the Saundra’s Furniture showroom, 279 S. Main Street, Colville, Washington.
