IMC's Five High Point Market Tours Focus on Trends, Lighting and Product Discovery

DesignOnHPMKT by IMC offers designers and retailers real time insights on new and next at the October 22-26 High Point Market through a series of five live tours focused on lighting – led by Chris Goddard of HGTV's Design Star: Next Gen – new trends in the TrendWatch vignettes and must-see products in the Suites at Market Square (SAMS).

New for the Fall 2022 High Point Market is a tour of highlights from IMC’s nearly 170 lighting resources led by Chris Goddard, founder of Goddard Design Group in Springdale, Ark. and star of HGTV's Design Star: Next Gen. On the 90-minute tour, Goddard will share best practices for choosing and installing fixtures and teach about LED color and temperature, smart apps and more. “Lighting Highlights Tour with Chris Goddard” is presented in partnership with Furniture, Lighting & Décor on Sunday, October 23, 2:30-4 p.m.

DesignOnHPMKT by IMC’s celebrated TrendWatch tour returns for Fall 2022 with an exploration of three all new trends from the proprietary report: Entwine, an homage to casual comfort, quiet moments and favorite spaces; Midnight, a showcase of deep and moody hues, earthy neutrals, burnished metals, stone accents and organic shapes; and Modernity, the latest expression of pastels as go-to hues for confident, playful interiors. Home furnishings trend forecaster, creative director and TrendWatch curator Julie Smith Vincenti of Nine Muses Media leads a 90-minute tour of themed trend displays at the Suites at Market Square (SAMS), the Showplace Walkway and the International Home Furnishings Center (IHFC) Green Lobby plus multiple points in between. “TrendWatch Tour” is on Monday, October 24, 2:30-4 p.m.
