Ashley HomeStore in Canton Celebrates Grand Opening with Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

Wellsville Carpet Town Inc., a regional home furnishings retailer operating numerous Ashley HomeStores in the tri-state area, reported it celebrated a ribbon cutting ceremony to commemorate the opening of a brand new showroom in the Canton, OH market.

The new Ashley HomeStore is now open at 4725 Dressler Road NW in Canton, joining hundreds of retailers and restaurants in the Belden Village shopping corridor. The 30,000-square foot showroom boasts an expansive collection of stylish, contemporary and traditional home furnishings, bedding and accessories.

A private ribbon cutting ceremony was held on Friday, December 18th. A crowd of corporate partners, vendors, local media, and passersby stopped to be part of the celebration. Within minutes of the ribbon cutting, several eager shoppers entered the long-­awaited opening.

“Ever since we opened our first northeast Ohio HomeStore in Fairlawn in 2011, we knew we had to make our way to Canton as well,” notes managing partner Timothy Quinn. “The response from our guests in all of our northeast Ohio stores—Fairlawn, Brooklyn and Mentor—has been tremendous, and we are excited to now bring product from the country’s number one furniture brand, excellent prices and unmatched customer service to Canton,” he said.
