I have a 5-drawer chest from Davis Cabinet Co. dated Aug. 15, 1949. The Model # is 305 and the finish is Patina Blanc. Not sure what that finish is exactly because it's a light green color. I have a 3 piece bedroom set. They are from the Davis Cabinet Company(located in Nashville Tenn.) The one chest is about 55" high x38" side to side and 19" front to back. It has 4 dressor drawers with an additional 2 big center doors which hide behind it 3 more drawers. This is a #207 Vintage Cherry Chest 1968. I have a long dresser which is 75" long by 30 " high by 19" front to back. This dressor has 3 drawers on the left and right side. The center has two big drawers which hide behind it 3 drawers. This is a # 202 Vintage Cherry 1968 and finally i have a night stand which is 25" long by 25"high by 17" front to back. This night stand has 3 drawers. Its also a #218 Vintage Cherry Night Stand 1968. All 3 pieces are solid wood and are from the 1968 era. Very beautiful. I am open to any reasonable offers for this set. I have a Davis Cabinet Company bedroom suite I am looking to part with. This set is Wingate Walnut and was manufactured February 1961 at the Davis Cabinet Company in Nashville TN. All pieces are toungue and groove. The set includes a King Size Headboard, Two night tables #656 Wingate Walnut with one top drawer and a shelf on the bottom, a 49 inch tall chest with drawers that has two smaller drawers on top and four large ones on the bottom #655, also is a very large dresser 70 1/2 inches long Wingate Walnut with 9 drawers, there are two cabinet doors in the middle that open to two pull out drawers with dividers. This piece also has a large mirror that accompanies this set. This is a complete set and has been well taken care of. There are some areas that will need some touching up, but I can send detailed picutres to anyone interested. This set was passed down from my great aunt whom was the original owner whom had purchased it from Davis Cabinet Company. All the drawer pulls are intact with no problems. My mother passed over this year, and one of the many items she left me was her Davis Cabinet Company, Lillian Russell, bedroom set. It was bought in Memphis, TN, in the early to mid 50’s. It is not a complete bedroom set since it is missing the bed, because, they could not afford it at the time. It is the solid cherry set. It does have the two, three drawer nightstands, bedside tables, or commodes, which ever you call it. The set also includes the five-drawer chest of drawers. It also has the three-drawer oval mirror dressor, which has the two small drawers on the top. I would appreciate any information as to insurance value about this beautiful bedroom set. It has only been moved twice in over 50 years, so it is in mint, to excellent condition. I have pictures of all pieces. It seems you can post any response on this site. I have Lillian Russell twin beds in perfect condition that are probably black walnut. My Great Aunt left them to me and I don't know whether they are dark from old varnish on cherry or what, but they're dark. I have pictures I can send.
I also have a large cherry dresser/mirror that is probably from the 50's that my Aunt had made by Davis Cabinet. Someone said they thought it was (deleted)berland Valley. It's perfect except for some minor spots on the top.
We are downsizing and I just don't have room, and family doesn't either ---so they need to go unfortunately. I am from Nashville, but currently live in Kansas City. I own a couple of davis cabinet company dressers. I am looking for some info on them. Could anyone help me? Chest shows #415 and double dresser shows #416. They are both a Patina Blanc finish. The stamps inside are readable but not sure how to read them? How would i know the year on them? I know it has something to do with the stamp. Also where would i find some replacement draw pulls? There are a couple missing. Can anyone answer my questions or where could i find out some free info on these?

We have a Lillian Russell cherry bed (full). It is in not too good a shape. The sideboards
slit last night dumping my wife and me in the floor (BOOM!!!). Any salvage value or
salvageable parts ya'll might want? Headboard and foot board have some areas where the
boards to make the turnings have separated some what. Too pretty to just throw

I have a Calvan III/ Queen Anne collection from the 1960's Davis Cab. Co. Dining Room set--complete with buffet/hutch, 6 chairs, and table with large leaves. It is in exquisite condition. It is made of an incredibly unique wood from South Africa called Andiroba (it's a mahogany/walnut hybrid). I have a 1946 Davis Cabinet Company vanity/dressing table. It is numbered 292 and made of solid American black walnut. It has the matching bench with original fabric on the seat. It has a center drawer and 3 drawers on each side of the kneehole. On the top of the mirror and the legs/feet of the vanity have a fan like decoration carved in them. Can anyone tell me a website I can find out any information about this piece? Or does anyone know anything about this piece? I've tried the Davis website and found nothing similiar. I have no idea about what style it would be described as or what "collection" it's from, so any information would be great. If you just post a reply I will be checking back. It consists of two 4 poster spiral beds (2328 3/3), a man's high chest with top compartments (2327), a women's 3 drawer dresser with a lyre mirror and top compartments (2327), and a 3 drawer nightstand/commode (2328). We have a queen size collector's cherry (red) Lillian Russell four poster spindle bed with solid rails in excellent shape. It was bought new from Davis Cabinet in 1990. We also have 1 Lillian Russell secretary (w/topper) in the same red finish and 1 Lillian Russell secretary in the Adriano Cherry finish (more of a brown finish). My wife has recently acquired some Lillian Russell (Davis Cabinet Co. - Nashville) bedroom furniture from her parents. I believe the furniture is dated 1946 and was purchased new by my in-laws. The furniture is constructed of black american walnut and is in great condition. I have a Lillian Russell twin cherry bedroom set from 1952. The lyre night stand is #2340, double dresser #2302, and the twin bed. But this bed is not on anything I can find in print. It has a full solid piece headboard and solid large piece footboard. It looks somewhat like the sleigh bed, but much more orate with the leaves and grape design and much higher headboard. Does anyone have another like this? I would like to add to this with the chest #2321 and possibly 2 #2342 night tables. I wish I could find another twin like mine also.

FOR SALE - TIRED OF KEEPING IN STORAGE - LILLIAN RUSSELL BLACK WALNUT BEAUTIFUL SET - It consists of (and you can look at these online at Davis Cabinet Company website) the single dresser (and mirror) #2301, the chest #2321 that has a separate mirror that looks similar to the dresser's mirror, but smaller mirror and 2 drawers, #2340 Lyre night stand, and 2 beds of the twin bed size #2353. We are in central Virginia. WILL SELL "ENTIRE SET" FOR $3000 or MAKE GOOD OFFER. The bedroom set is really beautiful. Have mattresses and springs as well. As a side note, one of the beds was only slept in a minimal amount of time, because my dad went into a hospital bed - he has been wheelchair bound for 30 years. Amazing that he is still doing well. The furniture is in like new appearance. The large chest's drawers (my dad's) was only used for storage. The drawers are exceptionally pretty. Tammy - we have my parents bedroom set. It consists of (and you can look at these online at Davis Cabinet Company website) the single dresser (and mirror) #2301, the chest #2321 that has a separate mirror that looks similar to the dresser's mirror, but smaller mirror and 2 drawers, #2340 Lyre night stand, and 2 beds of the twin bed size #2353. Lillian Russell lovers, look no further - hard to find pieces - black walnut bedroom suite. We have a set of twin beds (2 beds), chest of drawers with the small vanity mirror on top with 2 small drawers, small dresser with the separate large mirror in the middle. I have a Cumberland Valley Cannon Ball double bed with dresser, mirror and boxes and a four drawer chest. Davis quit making this bed in the 60's. This was made in 1961 -62. This is Cherry. I have a Lillian Russell solid American Black Walnut three-piece bedroom set made in February of 1945. The chest is the same style as the newer ones. The dresser has the attached mirror and the knee-whole with drawer in middle and three on each side, and it has the bench. The bed is gorgeous--not like the newer four poster ones. Yes, it surely IS the end of still another era. I phoned Davis Cabinet Company in Nashville this morning, only to learn that they are not, and will not, ever make anymore walnut or cherry furniture. It actually saddened me!! Everything from now on will be Phillippine Mahogany and that even saddened me more to know that our super craftsmen in our own country have to cope with this situation. I have a Davis Cabinet solid walnut bedroom set that was purchased in 1954, which makes it 50 years old or course. It is in like new conditon. The person on the phone at Davis Cabinet told me that their walnut and cherry furniture will now skyrocket in value. For all of us who like really nice things, oh well. janejb50@comcast.net
