youngsville star dining room set

I need information on a dining room set, dining room table,  six chairs (two are captains chairs), sideboard, china hutch.
There are Youngsville Star Mfg tags on the bottom of the chairs with the word Stratford written on the tag in pencil. 
I just inherited this from my mother-in-law and know nothing about it. I'm not sure what wood it's made from (pecan?, cherry?, elm???). I've been told that the style is French Provincial, but I've also been told Country French.
She inherited it from her mother when she passed on. I think the original purchase was sometime in the 50's or 60's.
