Looking for Info.

Looking for some information about a slant face secretary desk i picked up and trying to find history and reasonable price too ask for this piece of well made furniture...It has stamped in top drawer ...Monitor Furniture Co., Jamestown, NY....also has tag in bottom for top drawer ....Genuine Mahogany and has Number 288....so wondering IF there were only few pieces produced or what this stands for...I have pics hoping to post on here or if anyone can help me out i could send to you for looking at and giving me some info. on this piece.....Thanks to all
