American of Martinsville

I have a mid century modern bedroom set by American of Martinsville.  It is blonde mahogany with wormwood.  My parents bought it new in 1953 for $552.00.  I have the original invoice.  Can anyone tell me what it 's approximate value could be and how I should go about selling it?  It is in pretty good condition...a couple of nicks on the chest and dresser.  It also has a nightstand and bookcase headboard.
