Lighting Small Design Center Question

Hi, We are opening a small design center to the trade only.  The building we purchased was a home that is being completely renovated.  We are trying to set-up the showrooms for proper lighting that will help keep electric bill down and give us proper lighting.  Do you have any suggestions?  I've read a few of your articles and would love to have your input.  I don't want to make a mistake and put in the wrong lighting.  We will be selling fabric, furniture, wall paper, lighting, etc.
